Rest Workshop December 2016
Weaving together ideas from Yoga, neuroscience, psychotherapeutic theory and our own experience we will engage in a mix of theoretical input and small group discussion to explore what rest means to us, how we do it, how we stop ourselves having some and how we might allow more in our lives. The practical element of the workshop will involve a blend of gentle yoga asana practice to explore the potential for rest in movement, some restorative yoga using props to invite the body and mind to come into deep supported rest and some time in meditation resting into our selves.
My hope with this afternoon workshop is that we might enter the festive period feeling restored and reminded of the importance and deliciousness of rest.
Numbers are limited to 8 to ensure that I can offer individual attention and comfort in the space.
